Re: Wish Again
Anyway, since endless ammunition within the gun itself isn't possible, how about a self-refilling box? I figure it might not be as god-modely considering it's not self-loading; in a prolonged and heated battle, Balthier would still need to refill up the gun magazine/barrel/whatever manually before firing off any more shots? If that isn't enough of a downscale, then I wouldn't suppose a bajillion boxes instead of a single refilling box would be feasible?
My apologies if these questions are a bother, but I figure it'd be better than simply going ahead without permission.

Is there anyway you can change the tag reading l llawliet to simply l lawliet to reflect the correct spelling of the characters' name? Thanks so much!

Application Question...
That was my original intent for Gau as well, but after a bit of conversation with other players, it was suggested I use the manga because the manga progresses past where the anime does. The question of the possibility of canon conflicts with future players of Nabari characters came up as well.
The issue is this: the stories diverge greatly. Whether or not Raikou dies makes a huge impact on Gau's life and his direction in life, so which I choose is going to massively change the character for me. The official rules say that I can use any media and choose to bring the character in from any point... but will it be an issue if the events my character remembers are different from those the other characters from that universe remember?

Plot Question!
I was told that Hisato did have a small market, so the idea I had was that he's find a paper shop in disrepair and work on fixing it up in order to make/sell the paper.
Here's a link to show you what he knows how to do (this is more manga-verse than anime but I believe I still listed it as a talent of his.)

I've played in games that used PBWorks (http://pbworks.com/?utm_campaign=wiki-link) as their wiki host, and I have to recommend it - it's very easy to use and understand, and easy to navigate.

So it's been a while on the f'ed upness of figuring out DGM powers/Allen's eye/Innocence vs. Dark Matter/Christianity/blargh. I'm commenting now to offer what I hope might clear some of this up as I know most people here don't know DGM beyond a cursory idea of what's going on (it's more f'ed up than even its characters realize). Would it help if I proposed a neat little essay on how *I* (and the rest of the cast that's here/I can talk to/FFFF DO YOU KNOW HOW AMAZING THIS NEW KANDA APP IS? SHE SHOULD BE GOD) see it working here? And you guys can glance over it and see if it makes sense.
With that said, anything that's not public on the game site I should know about for fitting in? Decisions you've already made? (I really, REALLY want to clear this up so I can run off and work with these things as... I mean, Allen's powers are part of him more than any other DGM character so this is important and keeping me from engaging in certain plots/planning. ._.; )

This is Kuri, just shooting a message back to you quickly to let you know that we are not ignoring you at all. The reason why we haven't responded is because we've actually been in the process of revamping the game, which includes revamping the power system at the moment which should debut no later than June 15th. We can give you an idea of what this power system will look like inadvance to help facilitate your plots and stuff. This idea you have in terms of the essay sounds like a really great one! :D If it isn't too much trouble for you, that is.
We're really sorry for not getting back to you earlier, it's been a real tangle to try and develop a new power system that works with panfandom. Really, we'd like to give you, the player, the creative freedom and power here in deciding for yourself how these powers might fit in, in the scope of Kannagara, but of course are more than happy and willing to try and work it out a little more smoothly to fit the premise. :D
Anyway, shoot us an email at kannagararpg [at] gmail [dot] com once you have this nifty essay done, or any ideas you might have and we'll be sure to get back to you. Additionally, feel free to hit us up on AIM! ^_^
(Again, sorry for the delay, it's been kind of an insane month.)

Canon update question
Do I need to retouch my app to reflect that? (I think I'd like to fix it ANYWAY, just curios what you need from me~)
If their uniform/what's on them has changed, they reappear with those, right? (If he didn't have Timcanpy/his golem physically with him in canon at the time of the update, would he still have him as he's pretty plot relevant/IT'S TIM? ... Could Tim stay behind in Kanna? Kinda makes sense with Cross there. xD (fdhsj Timcanpy is the ultimate, plot-relevant "IDFK what it is/does *HANDWAVE* device))
Re: Canon update question
On the second part: My personal attitude towards canon updates is that it's largely up to player discretion how to conduct them (unless the whole thing somehow interferes with game rules/settings/etc., which I would find fairly unlikely in most cases). So the short answer is: YES. Hope that helps?

We are thinking that we will just go ahead and let her have Al be able to sleep in armor form - we'll say that The Gods Did It (TM), such that Al could participate in their bitchin master plan. Whether or not he will REQUIRE sleep is up to the mun in question - whatever works best.

First – Would fluent Japanese speakers think of the hitomi as an "eye"? I know there are three kanji on the back, but it seems weird to me that someone who speaks Japanese would have an untranslated Japanese word in their internal monologue, as though they didn't know what it meant. But! I can go with whatever.
Second – One of the characters I'm thinking about apping is really powerful. Like ... really, really powerful. In his canon, his father makes a nation and everything and everyone that ever came from it vanish as though it never existed, and his father's the second most powerful male of all time, after him. He doesn't go around doing that sort of thing whenever people annoy him, but he's a bit unstable and could be pushed to do really destructive things – accidentally massacring crowds of people, &c. Also, he taps into people's surface emotions almost unconsciously, which is pretty godmodey. So I've always assumed if I apped him to a game he'd be dramatically nerfed, and was more than okay with that, but the site says powers are left intact? O_o Is he the sort of person I shouldn't app at all, then?

As far as the Hitomi goes, because there are three sets of kanji all with three different translations and one pronunciation, we assume that most Japanese speakers will think of it as "Hitomi," i.e. the pronunciation that they all have in common. You're free to play around with this if you want - we certainly aren't going to tell you how your character will think, and it makes sense that some will think of it differently.
As for the second point, it's actually fine. At the moment we do have a nerfing system that comes into play when someone is engaged in actual battle - so if your character has an instakill move, he'll have to go without it when fighting another PC except in special circumstances. I actually played a character who was similarly absurdly overpowered, and I managed to work things out well enough with her. The mind/emotion reading thing is fine, although we ask that when you intro into the game you make a post warning people/asking for permissions. I would encourage you to go ahead and app this character. I don't forsee any issues from what you've described.
Wheelchairs and special needs in Kanna
I think that sounds perfectly reasonable. There aren't that many stairs for everyday life, many parts of the world are fairly flat or have paths that would be easy enough if tedious to use a wheelchair on, and there would probably be natives around willing to offer a friendly boost if there for some reason was a need to go up stairs. Or CR potential. It's up to how you want to play it.
Re: dream player plot question
We would expect backfiring, too. Like he might find himself having horrible nightmares from Road even if it hides what he wants to be hidden. Or perhaps Road herself would be in them - like a merged dream on the network. (You'd probably have some PCs getting their panties in a bunch then, too.)
Or perhaps backfiring on Road. These are just some ideas. The bottom line is it's a fun plot and her powers won't be nerfed exactly, not after the powers uncapping, but given the whole premise of Kannagara we would not want this to be an ongoing thing of him being able to hide dreams or her able to "filter" dreams long-term for anyone. Road herself would likely face some retribution for long-term repeated tinkering in such affairs.
Nightmare week questions
2. Defiling a shrine with gay sex? (Boku's laughing.) Depends on whose shrine. But any retribution is unlikely to happen during this event; they're a little distracted. Possibly something poetic and ironic in not-too-hostile retribution after the week is over. It's up to what you as players want to do.

moar requests for mass destruction~
Road is... angry. Per usual. But this time, she's bitter too, so she has the urge to burn down the house in Raisato that she was staying in with the Earl when he was impersonating Adam Walker. It's right across the... street? from where the Exorcists are all living, and I knew it would be best to ask mod approval before doing something like that to the environment of Kannagara.

That being said though, if you wish for Doug to communicate with a god in a log, us mods will be able to NPC one for him. Simply send as an email with a request to want a log with an NPC-god, outlining the details as to what Doug would want to discuss with said god so that from our side, we would be able to decide which god he can talk to!
Sorry the reply is a few days late. But hopefully that cleared your question! :)

The question of which god actually responds really depends. What she WANTS is to find someone who is more on the neutral-ish side, though she doesn't yet know more than what he locals are willing to say about the gods. I don't actually have one picked out for her because I can't find the place where it was listed which gods were involved with which side/part of the war. But the hope is to put her into a position where she can take part in the struggle between the gods.
The ultimate goal, of course, is to also get Loki involved, since he is a god himself (albeit obviously not on their level since they captured him) and is of course interested in finding out what the game being played here is and taking part. But think of Willow as... a scout of the mystical terrain. Depending on how the situation goes once it begins, she might form a real loyalty to a deity, but that would depend on how interactions between them go.
What do we think?

So it could really go a lot of ways! And we'd be more than happy to help work out kinks and details on it so we could always have a more running discussion about it on plurk or something. So I guess I'll get back to you again as soon as I have a more clear view on all the gods? And you can tell me more about Willow's tactics, perhaps.
