Actually, this is a plot-related change. If Peorth communicates with the gods about her inability to summon and gives proper offerings, her ability to summon will return. This isn't on the website but it was stated on several different development posts.
We will need to amend the website to add this in; it seems that the development team left out this clause.
Given this fact, are you still intending on dropping Peorth, or would you feel comfortable playing it out ICly and having her regain her summoning powers through actual play?
Aa, I see. Thank you for clearing that up. I've been referred to the development posts but all I read was the website; the fault lies with me on that matter.
Even given that fact, ICly Peorth is, in a word, vain; her pride as a Goddess First Class will not under any circumstances allow her to show piety to any gods other than the Almighty from her canon, and as such it would be a hopeless stalemate that would still handicap my character. My apologies for not being around when these changes were instated, as if I were I may have been able to think of a way to go through with it, but at this point in time I honestly can't think of a way or even handle it right now.
As I said before, I hope to apply again one day to Kannagara with a character who won't be affected in this manner, and even if they are I'll have the foresight not to be on hiatus for so long where I'm surprised by changes and unable to find myself able to cope. Basically, "it's not you, it's me"; Peorth is too much maintenance for me to handle right now.
